Indian Beach

Informed by the site, “Sundial” on Kiva Road, is a world away and a haven.

With a limited budget and a desire to have a home that was devoid of precious materials the spirit of the project centers on soaring spaces that make the under 2,000 sf home feel much larger.

While standing under the cupola water views are captured at each direction. The cupola acts as both a lantern to the family when out on Galveston Bay and a way to understand and measure the varying light and shadows per season.
